Situated in a private wilderness, close to Rathdrum and by the Avonmore River, Tipi Adventures offers a unique back to nature experience, with an educational and mindfulness aspect. Tipi Adventures are inspired by a love for the outdoors, and they organise and manage wild camping experiences for families and friends who wish to recharge the batteries and take time to enjoy and create memories that will last forever.
Accommodation is in Tipis, Tree Tents, Camping Hammocks and Trekking Tents and together with catering packages, with food cooked over the campfire, your every need is catered for. The Nordic Tipis supplied include modern single pole tipis in various sizes, diameters, and materials. These are strong structures providing ample space and protection from the elements.
Camping with family and close friends allows everyone an opportunity to wind down and enjoy each other’s company with the simpler things in life.
Also on the doorstep are local attractions including the Glenmalure Valley, Glendalough, Wicklow Gap, and Annamoe Trout Farm – catch your fish and bring it back to camp. The Tipi Team will show you a simple way of cooking fish over your campfire!
Also offered are programmes and courses promoting fundamental outdoor skills and bushcraft suitable for family groups, tour groups and corporate team/ bonding experiences.
